Semi-Pro

After the first week in the PIHA Northeast conference the boys went 3-1 on the weekend. After going through some changes by moving some Minor players up (Logan Cain, Andy Russo, Josh Fontaine) and adding new Goaltender (David Wax) to the mix this season. The changes definitely looked for the better after week one.

The first game of the season was against the LI Snipers who already played 2 games earlier in the day. Sniper goaltender O'Leary stood on his head and secured the win for the Snipers. The 2nd game of the day was against the Suffolk Sting. Impact went up 4-1 after the first period with Sting scoring a goal late in the 2nd period to make it a 4-2 game. John Lechmanski ended up scoring a empty net goal to win the game 5-3. Game 3 was against the RI Mistfits.  Impact went up 2-0 after the 1st period and ended up running away with the game scoring 4 more in the 2nd period with a final score of 6-2.
