Minor Semi-Finals vs Legends - 3OT Games

This Series was a great battle back and forth. All 3 games went into OT.

Game 1 - The Legends struck first late in the 2nd period on a power play to make it 1-0. Halfway into the 2nd Period Josh DiBlanda scored a goal to tie it up. The game went into OT and within the first 2mins of OT the Legends edged out Game 1 over Impact.

Game 2 - Mike Prainito buried the first goal in the first 3 mins of the opening of the game. After the first half the score was 2-1 Impact. Legends would eventually tie it up 2-2 in the first few mins of the 2nd period but Impact answered back with 2 goals to gain a lead of 4-2 with 5 mins left in the game. With the game on the line Legends pull their goalie and scored a quick goal to make it 4-3 with 2 mins to spare. They would eventually tie up the game with 23 secs left on the clock to force OT. Impact would go on a power play in OT with about 6mins left of OT1 and with a little back door pass from Vin Guigliano, Phil Russo would score the OT Winner to force a Game 3.

Game 3 – The game started out rough for Impact as Legends would score 2 in the first to make it 2-0. Impact Asst. Cap Brian Daponte would get the boys wheeling in the 2^nd period to make it 2-1 with 7mins to go. Josh DiBlanda would follow up with another goal to tie it up at 2-2 with 5 ½ to go in the 2^nd. The game would go right back into OT for the 3^rd consecutive time. However Josh DiBlanda wasted no time burying the OT winner in less than a min into the OT game.

The Minor Squad faces the Suffolk Sting for the NE Championship Game. Good Luck Boys
