Impact Remain Unbeaten After Harrisburg Festival
The Impact added ten out of a possible twelve points on Saturday, as they earned two regulation wins and two overtime victories. The began the weekend with one of the Harrisburg Festival's best games, as they took the impressive Hershey Typhoon to overtime where Pat Rosa would tally the OT game goal in a 3-2 win. They next defeated the York Typhoon 5-3, where Rosa was again the story of the game notching a hat trick. In their third game the Impact would again need overtime to defeat the expansion team Murraysville Shockwave 2-1. It was John Tobin who took care of the overtime goal scoring in this bout for the Impact.
After a several hour break and a quick trip to Hershey Park, the Impact finished off the weekend with a 5-2 victory over the host team, the Harrisburg River Monsters. John Ninivaggi was the stand out player, scoring a hat trick in the final game of the day for the Impact.
The wins improved the Impact to 3-3-0-0, which is good for 15 points and first place in the Eastern Conference. However the team will not take almost a month and a half off before they are back in action on November 25 at Marple Sports Arena.
